CM Process Solutions Sanitizer Conveyor Tunnel has been designed to help plants reduce the risk of contaminants and increase food safety. Every day, packaged ingredients stored in containers, buckets, packed meats, and bags are brought into plants on delivery trucks, and could have been exposed to contaminants or pathogens.
The Sanitizer Conveyor Tunnel is usually installed at a goods location in the plant, or through the wall from low care to high care. The container or bag is placed on the infeed of the conveyor belt, where it is conveyed through the machine and diluted sanitizing solution is sprayed on all sides, helping to eliminate bacteria or contaminants. The solution is constantly re-circulated through filters and back into the tank. The belt is variable speed, allowing for adjustment. A photo-electric sensor positioned at the end of the tunnel will stop the conveyor if a product has not been removed, preventing it from falling on the floor. Optionally, the Sanitizer Conveyor Tunnel can be fitted with a blow off system for removing bulk solution. The Sanitizer Conveyor Tunnel is not only easy to clean and sanitary, it also reduces labor costs while using only 25% of the sanitizing solution needed during hand application decontaminations.
